CONTRAINDICATIONS - Angle-closure Glaucoma; Known history of QTc
prolongation, recent MI, heart failure.
ADVERSE REACTIONS - SUICIDAL THOUGHTS, ARRHYTHMIAS, Lethargy,
Sedation, Hypotension, Blurred vision, Dry eyes, Dry mouth, Constipation,
increased appetite, weight gain, urinary retention, decreased libido,
photosensitivity, changes in blood glucose
NORMAL DOSE - PO: (Adults) 75 mg/day in divided doses; may be
increased up to 150 mg/day or 50-100 mg at bedtime. PO: (Geriatric
Patients and Adolescents) 10 mg tid and 20 mg at bedtime or 25 mg at
bedtime initially, slowly increased to 100 mg/day as a single bedtime dose
or divided doses.
