This paper consists of 6 pages.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Read these instructions carefully to ensure that you meet the requirements of each
question.
2. This question paper contains TWO essay questions. Choose ONE question ONLY.
3. Pay attention to the following aspects when you answer each question:
• Content
• Structure
• Language and style
• Citations and referencing
4. Use the checklist provided to make sure that you have answered all the questions.
Copy the checklist and declaration and paste it at the beginning of your script.
5. Submit the following as part of your portfolio: the completed checklist, the
plagiarism declaration and your answers.
6. Once you have completed your portfolio, compile all materials into a single PDF file
and upload it via the myModules platform. Use the ‘Assessment 3’ section if you are
registered for the 2025 second semester, or the ‘Assessment 4’ section if you are
registered for the 2025 first semester (supplementary examination) on the
ENG1503 site.
7. In the cases of any cheating or plagiarism, no marks will be allocated.
8. NO LATE EXAMINATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED. SUBMIT YOUR EXAMINATION
BEFORE THE SUBMISSION SYSTEM CLOSES AT 6:00 PM ON 23 OCTOBER
