CERTIFICATION EXAM QUESTIONS
AND ANSWERS. VERIFIED 2025/2026.
What is a strech reflex? - ANS A spindle response when a stretch occurs to rapidly or
lengthens to much. "knee jerk response"
Creep - ANS The property that allows ROM gains by repetition.
Myofascia - ANS Myofascia is neither perfectly plastic or elastic it is viscoelastic
Viscoelastic - ANS Combination of Plastic , Elastic and Creep
Elasticity - ANS adapts quickly and stretches in different shapes and directions.
Plasticity - ANS Tissue structure and function can adapt in response to demands and
environmental conditions.
Describe movement - ANS Any activity of daily living or training exercise is a movement.
Describe mobilization - ANS Dynamic movements to prepare for exercise movement
1 @COPYRIGHT 2025/2026 ALLRIGHTS RESERVED.
, Describe flexibility - ANS Lengthening myofascia to increase general mobility or specific ROM
How do you asses mobility ? - ANS 1. Observe: if a client move into and maintain an exercise
position.
2. Feedback: Note complaints of stiffness , tightness.
3: Asses ROM when necessary
4. Mobilize : and stretch the restriction.
5. Re-asses: the movement.
Describe range of motion (ROM) and its subcategories. - ANS ROM: The amount of
movement around a particular joint
Active ROM: Trainer doesnt help , client moves at the joint.
Passive ROM : Client relaxes and trainer moves the limb (usually attaining 5-15 degrees more
mobility)
Hyper Mobility: If a client has it focus on stability exercises.
What are the myofacial slings? - ANS Anterior Superficial : (front line)
Posterior Superficial: (back line)
Posterior Longitudinal Sling
