-​ sinds komst van kleur, is de basis van audiovisuele storytelling niet drastisch meer
veranderd




1.2: vier belangrijke trends in audiovisuele storytelling

1)​ democratisering door goedkoper materiaal
-​ audiovisuele storytelling is toegankelijker doordat iedereen rondloopt met
goede camera (gsm)
-​ ook veel meer “goedkope” camera’s met hoge kwaliteit
●​ tip: film steeds in hogere kwaliteit dan dat je gaat gebruiken (bv 7k) zo ervaar je geen
kwaliteitsverlies tijdens het inzoomen in de montage)

2)​ democratisering door Ai
-​ films en foto’s kunnen al bijna volledig met Ai gemaakt worden
●​ creatie van storyboards
●​ speech to text
●​ automatisch monteren
-​ = automatisering van de technische taken
-​ maar ook automatisering van creatie
●​ bv: ai gegenereerde beelden = echt volledige video

-​ moeten we bang zijn voor jobverlies?
●​ neen, men ziet dat echtheid, authenticiteit en auteurschap toch
belangrijk blijven

-​ Ai = een toel, geen doel
●​ kan hand in hand:
○​ upscalen
○​ extenden
○​ special effects

3)​ democratisering door gratis distributie
-​ content is toegankelijker te bekijken door het advertentie gedreven business
model
●​ tiktok, instagram,...

-​ MAAR: contentcreators staan wel gratis hun video af

-​ passief: gebruiker stuurt niets aan -​ actief: gebruiker kiest wat en
-​ lineair: in een vaste volgorde wanneer hij kijkt / luistert
●​ bv: thuis komt om 20u op tv, met op -​ non-lineair: geen specifieke
elkaar volgende afleveringen volgorde
●​ bv: random youtube video


→ men ziet de trend enorm verschuiven van passief naar actief

CONCLUSIE: iedereen = creatie en content = story
