What is a bias? - ANS-when an author ignores reasonable counterarguments or distort
opposing view points. A bias can be evident when an author is purposefully or grossly
unfair or inaccurate.

What is a stereotype? - ANS-like a bias, it is a generalization. They are applied
specifically to a group or place.They also typically apply negative generalizations
towards people and are not favored in reading.

How does one identify the definition of a word from its context? - ANS-Define the word
based on the words around it and the way it is use din a sentence. Sometimes words
can be defined by what they are not.

Why is word choice important? - ANS-It can show a writer's signature or style as well as
showing the tone or mood of a text.
