SCREENING AND TISSUE RECOVERY, COLLECTION AND
ACQUISITION
1. Cardiac Warm ischemic time is 24 hours from asystole as long as?: the donor's body
was cooled or refrigerated within 12 hours of asystole.
2. If a body is not cooled cardiac warm ischemic time cannot exceed?
(cardiac warm ischemic time is asystole to old rinse): 15hrs
3. If the donor's body is cooled for a period of time, then not cooled for a period
of time?: the time period the donor's body is not cooled cannot exceed 15 culminative hours
4. Request for tissue for research shall be reviewed and approved based on?: -

5. Monetary compensation or other valuable considerations, including goods
and services shall not be offered to a DONOR, Authorizing person, the donors
estate or any third party except?: 1) Responsible may reimburse parties for cost directly associated
with donation
2) Living donors for costs associated with acceptable donation
6. Requests for human tissue for Research when submitted shall?: Be submitted in
writing
