Organizations have varying structures on which they run. Organization leaders structure their businesses in such a way that they run effectively so that they can produce maximum satisfaction to customers. In return, when customers are fully satisfied then the business can make profits and progress effectively. There are some theorists who have formulated methods to try and create a working environment that is very effective for businesses. Such theorists include Kolb who formulated a method of learning. Kolb’s theory can be used by businesses to train their employees on new methods of production or service delivery in a fast and effective manner., The theory depicts the four stages of learning that are common to everybody. Another theorist who has made major contributions to the Business world is Mintzberg. This theory described the various types of business structures. In doing this, he also detailed the relationships and the operations of the business structures. As such, businesses can apply the various structures and see which one best works for them while also assessing those structures that cannot work. Through Forrester and Drexler’s article, we can see some ways teams can be used to enhance organizational performance. The two discuss the best environment for teams to survive while also detailing how we can best use teams in an organization. The three authors have effectively brought out organizations as systems which can only survive through the appreciation of personal abilities to try and build each other (Kolb 43). Another aspect brought out by the three theorists is that businesses can only grow if they continuously endow their employees with relevant skills in the job market. Kolb’s learning cycle details a systematic method of learning. Through this method, one can learn both intellectual and physical skills. The whole process involves just a total of four steps. Kolb argues that it is possible for one to learn even from the simplest of experiences in life. This means that one does not need to be in a classroom to learn. Apparently, learning also occurs in a normal environment outside the classroom whereby a person can also learn passively without the involvement of a teacher.

Organizations have varying structures on which they run. Organization leaders structure

their businesses in such a way that they run effectively so that they can produce maximum

satisfaction to customers. In return, when customers are fully satisfied then the business can

make profits and progress effectively. There are some theorists who have formulated methods to

try and create a working environment that is very effective for businesses. Such theorists include

Kolb who formulated a method of learning.

Kolb’s theory can be used by businesses to train their employees on new methods of

production or service delivery in a fast and effective manner., The theory depicts the four stages

of learning that are common to everybody. Another theorist who has made major contributions to

the Business world is Mintzberg. This theory described the various types of business structures.

In doing this, he also detailed the relationships and the operations of the business structures. As

such, businesses can apply the various structures and see which one best works for them while

also assessing those structures that cannot work. Through Forrester and Drexler’s article, we can

see some ways teams can be used to enhance organizational performance. The two discuss the

best environment for teams to survive while also detailing how we can best use teams in an

organization. The three authors have effectively brought out organizations as systems which can

only survive through the appreciation of personal abilities to try and build each other (Kolb 43).

Another aspect brought out by the three theorists is that businesses can only grow if they

continuously endow their employees with relevant skills in the job market.

Kolb’s learning cycle details a systematic method of learning. Through this method, one can

learn both intellectual and physical skills. The whole process involves just a total of four steps.

Kolb argues that it is possible for one to learn even from the simplest of experiences in life. This

means that one does not need to be in a classroom to learn. Apparently, learning also occurs in a

normal environment outside the classroom whereby a person can also learn passively without the

involvement of a teacher.

The first stage of the learning process is going through experiences. For one to learn, they

have first to have a life experience that will lead to them gaining certain knowledge. For

instance, in accounting, it serves better when one is given an opportunity to journal entries and

come up with suggestions towards the spending of an organization. The other step of the learning

process is Reflective observation (Sean 44). This step puts into consideration observing the

actions or experiences we have gone through and record them. After we have observed our

experiences, then we get into a stage of trying to conceptualize what was the experience that we

went through. After we have conceptualized our experience then we can come up with a

hypothesis on it (Rae 68). The final part of the Learning cycle involves testing the hypothesis

that one has adopted. We usually test our hypothesis by other experiences we have had in life.

From this ewe can conclude whether we will accept the hypothesis we obtained from the

previous experience. Most people do not realize that they use this cycle in learning. This is

because it mostly occurs unconsciously. However, according to Kolb, for one to learn any knew

knowledge, they have to go through the four stages of the newly learned skill or piece of

information to stick in mind.
