The Safe Place Day Care is targeting specific customer group, the lower to middle class families,
two income family. This group of customer families hasone parentsworking, they struggle to

their daycare services. This customer group has a lower learning rate because their parents are
away from them working. The parents are relying on us to help teach and develop the children’s
learning skills. These customers are typically made up of parents who are struggling but are
working hard to provide a better life for their kids. This explains the parent’s reasons for
needing affordable daycare. The parents are working hard endlessly to provide for their children and
depend on childcare services.The SafePlace Daycare plans to focus on struggling working single
family homes because they are the target market who need daycare the most. Single working
families need daycare to assist them when the parent needs to work, to help develop the
children’s learning, and social skills. This customer group depends on affordable daycare
because they are only making minimum wage, work hard to make ends meet and rely on
daycares who take part in receiving vouchers from the government for daycare services.Childcare
provision is necessary with only one parent in the home this customer group of working parents.
The three methods I will use to research my customer needs and wants are analyzing my
competition, interview customers and recording customer experiences through diary studies. To
maintain customers loyalty and customers satisfaction it is important to identify the needs and
wants of your customers. Your business can loss customers and business if you fail to correctly
identify the essential necessities of your customers. You could potentially your customers to your
competition.Analyzing my competition by identifying the strengths, weakness, opportunities,and
threats who are similar to The Safe Place Daycare center. Using SWOT can offer a view into
what my competition is doing right or wrong. SWOT can show me how to better serve my
