1. Boot Sector Virus
Explanation:
Infects the master boot record of storage devices. It activates when the computer boots.
Example: CIH/Chernobyl virus.

بوٹ سیکٹر وائرس ماسٹر بوٹ ریکارڈ کو متاثر کرتا ہے اور کمپیوٹر اسٹارٹ ہوتے ہی فعال ہو جاتا ہے۔
2. File Infector Virus
Explanation:
Attaches itself to executable files (.exe, .com). Whenever the file runs, the virus spreads.
Example: Cascade virus.
