It may arise from the children, colleagues, community, families, and society. As educators, the everyday actions have a momentous impact on the lives of children and families (Gadzikowski, 2018). The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) has published a Code of Ethical Conduct and Statement of Commitment to help early childhood professionals with guidelines on appropriate behaviors and a basis for settling ethical problems. Although it may not be followed at every early childhood care and education facility NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct should be put into action because it supports diverse family cultures, acknowledges children’s uniqueness, and retains any form of prejudice within the facility.
