Hello and welcome to D660!
We are Dr. Hempen, Dr. Wolfe, and Dr. McElhaney, your course instructors for the
course.
How to approach D660:
It is imperative that you start by working through all the course material. There
are many formative assessments along the way to test your knowledge as you
go. Mastering the information throughout the course material is essential in
understanding how to complete the two tasks at the end. While we cannot
provide a pacing guide for you, know that you are in charge of your own learning
and can work as quickly or as slowly as your life allows in this moment.
Here is a suggested way on how to approach the course:
• Start with task 2.
o Open a word document and create your own lesson plan outline or
use the task 2 lesson plan template under the supporting
documents.
o Include only the requirements noted on the rubric.
o You must select an ISTE standard (linked below) and focus the
lesson plan on that. You are not just incorporating technology or a
tech tool like Kahoot into a lesson.
• Don’t start on task 1 until task 2 passes.
o You must use GoReact to record.
o You can screen share or record yourself talking, but no resources or
examples need to be shown.
