Lesson Aims (on different cognitive levels)
At the end of the lesson, learners should be able to:
1. Identify and name common fractions up to twelfths.
2. Visually compare and order fractions using digital tools.
3. Add and subtract fractions with the same denominator.
4. Solve real-life problems involving fractions (grouping and sharing).
5. Recognise and explain equivalent fractions using digital simulations
Teaching Strategy
Collaborative and visual learning strategy. Learners will work in small groups using ICT tools
to visually explore and manipulate fractions. This promotes shared learning, peer teaching
and enhanced conceptual understanding. Using visual digital simulations supports learners
who struggle with abstract number concepts.
