Vision Statement (2 marks)
“To be the leading provider of authentic, affordable, and quality traditional African meals
that bring comfort and connection to communities across Limpopo and beyond.”
• This vision is future-oriented, inspiring, and customer-focused, aligning with the
study guide’s principle that a vision should describe the desired long-term future
of the business.
Mission Statement (5 marks)
“Mahlodi’s Kitchen exists to provide nutritious, home-style traditional African meals to
students, staff, and the local community by:
1. Delivering generous portions at affordable prices;
2. Creating a welcoming environment that reminds customers of home;
3. Offering reliable catering services for functions and events;
4. Upholding high standards of quality, hygiene, and service;
5. Empowering the community through job creation and partnerships with local
suppliers.”
