1. Description of Experience
During 2025, one of the most significant modules I engaged with was
CAS3701 (Critical Thinking). At first, I underestimated how
demanding this module would be. It required a lot of independent
reading, participation in webinars, and continuous engagement with case
studies. One specific challenge I faced was keeping up with weekly
readings and applying critical thinking skills to real-life case studies, as
these were more complex than simple summaries or memorization tasks.
At the same time, I experienced a notable achievement: my ability to
analyse arguments and identify logical fallacies improved. Initially, I
found myself accepting information at face value, but by the middle of
the semester, I noticed that I was questioning claims, evaluating sources,
and applying reasoning strategies even outside of the academic setting.
A key moment was receiving feedback on my second assignment, where
I was commended for showing deeper analysis compared to my first
attempt. This experience shaped how I approached not only CAS3701
but also other modules that required critical thinking.
2. Feelings
At the beginning, I felt overwhelmed by the workload and the depth of
analysis expected. When I fell behind on readings, I felt anxious and
frustrated because I knew that my understanding of case studies
