What does teaching mean to you?
Teaching means guiding, supporting, and inspiring learners to discover knowledge and
develop skills that will help them in life. It is about creating opportunities for growth and
shaping learners into responsible individuals.
How would you best describe teaching and what it involves?
Teaching is a process of transferring knowledge, values, and skills in a way that
learners can understand and apply. It involves planning lessons, using different
teaching strategies, managing the classroom, and assessing learning to ensure that all
learners are progressing.
How do you see your role as a teacher?
My role as a teacher is to be a facilitator of learning, a motivator, and a role model. I
must create a positive learning environment, support learners’ needs, and encourage
them to reach their full potential.
What is your understanding of learning?
Learning is the process through which individuals acquire new knowledge, skills,
attitudes, and values. It is an active and continuous journey of understanding and
applying what is taught.
What do you expect to learn or gain from this process of observation and teaching
practice?
,I expect to gain practical experience in lesson planning, classroom management, and
learner engagement. I also hope to learn from experienced teachers, reflect on my own
teaching abilities, and develop confidence in managing a real classroom.

Learners enter the classroom in an orderly manner, often lining up quietly before taking
their seats.
How the teacher and learners greet each other:
The teacher greets the learners politely, and learners respond respectfully, creating a
welcoming atmosphere.
How the desks are arranged:
Desks are arranged either in rows facing the board or in groups to encourage
interaction.
Does the teacher verify attendance?
Yes, the teacher calls out the register or checks the attendance list to confirm who is
present.
How the previous day's homework is dealt with:
The teacher checks, collects, or discusses the homework to give learners feedback and
corrections.
B. During the lesson
What the teacher does to let learners know what is expected:
