WORKING MEMORY EXPERIMENT QUESTION 1

Normal rats are tested in a working memory task. In this task rats learn to hold a visual
stimulus (in working memory) over a delay period. Performance in the task is measured
as the percentage of correct choices at each delay length (5, 10, and 15 seconds). All
delay lengths are presented within the same single experimental session (120 trials)
with the order of delays randomized (example order: 15sec, 5, 5, 5, 10, 15, 10...etc.)

After animals learn how to perform the task the following experiment is conducted: All
