The Homestead is attached as Appendix A. (This letter explains the scope, clarifies
that implementation is not required, and requests cooperation.) Include the signed

1.1.3 Report on the approach experience
I approached The Homestead by sending the formal request email and follow-up phone
call. The initial response was positive: the Director’s office acknowledged the request
within 48 hours and invited me for a short meeting. In the meeting (face-to-face at the
administration office) the staff expressed appreciation for assistance with campaign
planning, noting that the organisation has limited marketing resources and would
welcome a detailed campaign plan.
Overall the approach experience was positive — staff were cooperative and candid
about current challenges (funding, volunteer recruitment and digital visibility). The
interaction reinforced that the organisation would likely cooperate in providing access to
staff, premises for observation, and limited internal documents for planning.
1.1.4 How the organisation responded
The Homestead provided conditional cooperation — they authorised information sharing
for planning and allowed access to one drop-in centre for observation and informal
