Effective (3 marks)
An effective system is one that successfully performs the tasks it was
designed to do and meets the needs of its users and the organization. It
enables users to complete their work accurately and efficiently, thereby
enhancing productivity. Effectiveness also involves aligning the system
with business goals and ensuring it supports decision-making, data
processing, and user satisfaction. For example, a payroll system that
calculates salaries correctly, generates payslips, and ensures compliance
with tax regulations would be considered effective.
