Tell me about an experience you had with a difficult customer - Answers In the library there are books
that customers have reserved online and they have to come before a certain date in order to pick up
their books. If that date passes their name gets removed and it moves onto the next person on the
reserve list. One day, a man couldn't find his reserved book and asked me where it was. I asked him
when his pick up date was, and he told me it had already passed. Upon hearing this, I explained to him
the company policy regarding reserve books and how he would have to either request a reserve again or
wait until book was returned if it was already checked out. He kept insisting I should just give him the
book since he was only a day late and I empathized with him and remained calm. I resolved the issue by
helping him reserve the book again online and I walked him through the steps on how to reserve the
book.
