Summary IEB Physical Sciences Paper II - Chemical Equilibrium
As someone who really struggled with Physical Sciences and questioned my own study methods, I made it my mission to make perfect study notes that had absolutely everything I would need to prepare for tests/exams. I have read thoroughly through the official National Senior Certificate document (updated 2024 version) for Physical Sciences to ensure that I have everything mentioned/explained/expanded on in these notes (including the exact definitions needed word for word). I ensure that studying these notes alone first and then doing past papers are the ONLY things you need to do really well in class tests/June exams/prelims/Finals. These notes are specifically on the section CHEMICAL EQUILIBRIUM for PAPER II, including: open and closed systems, dynamic equilibrium, conditions of equilibrium, catalyst, equilibrium constant, Kc calculation (RICE table), Le Châtelier's principle, forward and reverse reactions + graphs, factors which effect equilibrium position (concentration, temperature and pressure change) graphs, steps on describing equilibrium shift according to Le Châtelier's principle. I would highly recommend these notes for those who have no clue what's cooking in this subject or who do not have the time to go back to the textbook to read pages and pages just to relearn something and just need a perfect summary on absolutely everything.
