ASSIGNMENT 2 2025

UNIQUE NO.
DUE DATE: 20 JUNE 2025

, Teaching Natural Science and Technology

QUESTION 1

1.1 Statement: “Science and Technology are inseparable.”

Do I agree? Yes.

Reasoning:
To begin with, Science is the study of the natural world. It helps us understand how
things work – like why the sun rises, how plants grow, or what happens when you mix
vinegar and baking soda. It’s all about discovering facts through experiments and
observations.

Technology, on the other hand, is about using what we learn from science to make
tools and solve problems. For example, we use scientific knowledge about electricity to
make appliances like fridges, TVs, and cellphones.

I agree that science and technology are inseparable because technology depends on
science. If we didn’t understand science, we wouldn’t be able to build or improve
technology. At the same time, technology helps us do science better – like using
microscopes to see tiny cells or computers to analyse data faster.

For example, in medicine, scientists study viruses (science), and then they use that
knowledge to make vaccines (technology). Also, space science helps us understand the
universe, and then technology allows us to build rockets to explore it.

So, in my view, science and technology are like two best friends who always work
together.
