Information Recall
· What was the most challenging part of delegation?
The challenging part of the delegation was recognizing the scope of practice of each medical personnel
and evaluating their response and understanding of the task. If they were effectively following the
‘five rights.
· What do you think went well during this simulation?
Overall it was great learning simulation, I was able to make correct choices during communication with
the nurse and UAPs. However, there were certain communication choices that I could’ve made better
ones and definitely a good learning moment.
Discovering
· What are your strengths as a communicator?
Maintaining professionalism during conversations with the nurses and the UAPs and also the patient.
· What was challenging about this simulation? What will you do differently next time?
To find the neutral ground, where the communication needed to be effective however, professional. I did
select a wrong choice when communicating with the UAP which caused distress when the concern was
not even under her scope of practice. I can definitely, change that and do differently next time.

· How did this assignment affect your development toward proficiency with leadership concepts
in a hospital setting?
