, Lesson 1: A Healthy Breakfast
Reading
Anna and Maria are classmates. One morning, Anna sees Maria at school and
asks, “Did you eat breakfast today?”
Maria smiles and replies, “Yes! I had oatmeal with banana, almonds, and a
spoon of honey. I also drank green tea.”
Anna laughs. “That’s healthy! I just had coffee and a piece of toast.”
Maria says, “You should try eating something more filling. Breakfast gives you
energy and helps you focus in class.”
Anna nods. “Maybe you’re right. But I don’t have time in the morning.”
Maria offers a tip: “Prepare it the night before. Overnight oats are quick and
delicious!”
Later that day, Anna searches for a recipe online and tries it the next morning.
She adds her favourite fruit and even shares it with her younger brother. After
breakfast, she feels more awake, energetic, and ready for school.
