Introduction
Twenty-four-year-old Ana arrived to the clinic thirty minutes early. She exhibits
depressive symptoms and worrisome conduct. Cognitive, Cognitive Behavioral, or Reality
Theory treatment would be beneficial for Ana. A study by Glass, Arnkoff, and Rodriguez (2018)
found that reality theory, cognitive, and cognitive-behavioral therapy are all successful methods

therapeutic exposure.

implying a lack of solid romantic or social ties. Because Reality Theory and Choice Theory are
compatible, it offers a quick and practical way to improve Ana's quality of life. She can change
