Requirements for Regulations of Coal Plants
Issue:
A new regulatory policy was created to place a cap on coal from different sources of harmful
pollution. Power plants are the main source of carbon pollution in the United States. Even
automobiles have caused an huge increase in carbon pollution. This affected carbon pollution
negatively, and had e a limit on emissions from these plants . It would also help with climate
change as well.
Solutions:
- Very strict carbon use in automobiles (Yuan Yuan & Lingling, 2020). With this in place, it
would tremendously help the automobile industry in making automobiles with eco-friendly.
- Creating a carbon tax that would introduce the price on items industrialized by fossil fuels but
this would potentially increase the price on fossil fuel (Metcalf, 2019).
