Time Management Plan
Part 1: Prioritizing Tasks
Brief Explanation for Eisenhower Matrix Categorization:
1. Client Sessions: Directly impacts the clients' progress and is a priority, especially
since I’m working with individuals who need consistent support.
2. Meetings with Supervisors: These are necessary for feedback and guidance on
my work, but can typically be scheduled for later, as long as there’s no immediate
issue.
3. Studying for Exams or Certification: Studying is crucial for long-term career
goals, but it's not an immediate requirement unless there's an approaching
deadline for certification.
4. Responding to Emails or Messages: While this is important for communication
and coordination, many emails or messages may not require immediate action.
5. Administrative Work (e.g., billing, scheduling): These tasks are time-sensitive,
especially if they’re related to billing deadlines or client appointments. However,
they don't require my specialized expertise.
6. Attending Team Meetings: Attending team meetings is not critical and not time-
sensitive to client care.

Time Management Tips:
Prioritize Important Tasks: Tasks from the Urgent and Important category in the
Eisenhower Matrix (client sessions and documentation) are your top priorities every day.
Time Blocks: Be strict with your time blocks to ensure you're not distracted. Set
boundaries and use a timer to stay on track.
Breaks: Ensure you take regular breaks to maintain focus and avoid burnout, especially
after client sessions or long hours of documentation.
End-of-Week Review: On Friday, evaluate your week’s progress. Did you complete the
goals you set for yourself? What tasks need to be carried over into next week?
