Part One: Analysis of a Written Work for a First Audience
The mental health crisis has been around for many generations and has only worsened as
time passes. With COVID-19 being the most recent incident, it was the vital root cause that
sparked the mental health crisis and global transition that shaped billions of lives today. It has
affected many lives all over the world financially from shutting down businesses along with
layoffs, the education system alteration that affected learning in college, which then led to the
demand advancement of online technology that inevitably increased the mental health crisis
altogether. Along with the demand to advance and adapt to new technology, it had made it so
much stressful for the young adults at a mental aspect, in which Peluse will explain the solutions
for the cause & effects. College students now depend on technology to learn and this has made
them unmotivated in their education. The introduction to Al has caused many business owners to
shut down or transition and the workforce to compete or result in being laid off to be replaced.
All of these things are causing an overload of stress in young adults in and fresh out of college
and shifting their mental and overall health downhill. This is where Peluse writes an article to
highlight the importance of finding balance by slowing down, taking breaks, and being
productive away from all the stressful events in everyday life; for the sake of one's mental health
and well-being. The misconception of working tirelessly to become successful is also an issue
people tend to overthink nowadays and that could take a turn on their well-being eventually. It
will not determine true success compared to one who can balance their life with controlled
productivity and care for their well-being. It is a consideration act of selflessness and empathy
towards yourself and others around you to recognize and reconcile when facing everyday
adversities.
