Week 2 Assignment
As project manager who has the responsibility of facilitating the selection of a new
healthcare information system in a hospital of reputable size, my role includes evaluating many
Electronic Health Records and Electronic Medical Records programs. Examination and
evaluation of these programs involves making sure the software fits the needs of the hospital.
Healthcare information systems such as Epic EHR, Allscripts MyWay EMR, and Waiting Room
Solutions all provide different features, and some other programs are directed towards small
practices and specialties.
