How and where are medications stored? - ANSWER In a locked medication
cart or room
Procedure for administering rectal medications - ANSWER Remove and check
medication at least 3 times
Squeeze a small amount of lubricant onto a paper towel
Wash hands and put on gloves
Position resident of left side exposing buttocks, make sure area is clean of PU,
feces, and urine
