Activity Alignment
In the assessment activity, each item aligns with a course objective or student
outcome in the module. Questions 4, 6, and 7 align with CO #1, which states that by the
end of this course, students will be able to distinguish the roles and responsibilities of a
community health nurse. Question 4 has students distinguish what setting a community
health nurse would work in to assess a community. Question 6 has students distinguish
what responsibility is correct for the community health nurse to do when evaluating a
community. Question 7 has students analyze whether or not they know what a
community health nurse’s role is by a true or false question.
, Having students distinguish what a community health nurse's role and purpose is
in a community will help them succeed in addressing community health outcomes from
nursing inventions. Students will be able to distinguish what settings and responsibilities
are unique to community health nurses versus other specialties. Students will analyze a
community health nurse’s in promoting communication using education, focusing on
prevention, and addressing healthcare needs. Students will understand the purpose and
role of a community health nurse in successfully addressing community health
outcomes from nursing interventions. (Kuo et al.,2021)
