Provide evidence from data of the distribution of fossils and rocks, continental shapes, and seafloor
structures to explain past plate motions.
Learning Objective(s): Objective
SCI.6.6.1: Define sea-floor structures: continental shelf, trench, ridges, ocean basins, vents,
continental drift, Pangea, and sea-floor spreading.
Students will be able to define each of the sea-floor structures with 80% accuracy
