QUESTIONS AND CERTIFIED OPTIONS
Assets Panel (What is searched?) ANSW✅✅Chart type names, custom object names, field names,
master item names and master item tags
Dimension and measure selection dialogs (What is searched?) ANSW✅✅Field names and names
of master dimensions or measures
Filter panes, Tables, and selection item dialogs (What is searched?) ANSW✅✅Values in a specific
field, where matches are determined by hits at the beginning of a substring within the value
Search places that allow * and ? ANSW✅✅Selection item dialogs, filter panes, tables
When you create a bookmark, what is saved? ANSW✅✅The current state of selections, and the
current sheet being viewed
Where can bookmarks be accessed? ANSW✅✅App overview, sheet view, stories view
Only things you can do to edit an existing snapshot? ANSW✅✅Edit annotation and delete
GeoAnalytical Layer: Area ANSW✅✅Displays polygonal areas. The color can be controlled by a
measure. The geometry is specified by common place names that are looked up in a location serivce
GeoAnalytical Layer: Bubble ANSW✅✅Displays geometric shapes or customer images at
geographic locations. Size and color can be controlled by measures. the position can be specified by
either common place names or latitude and longitude values
GeoAnalytical Layer: Chart ANSW✅✅Displays pie charts or bar charts at geographic locations. It
takes one dimension to identify the point and another dimension to define the bars or pie wedges in
the chart. A measure controls the size of the bars or pie wedges. For pie charts, an optional measure
can be applied to control the size of pies
, GeoAnalytical Layer: Line ANSW✅✅Displays lines form a start point to an end point. Line width
and color can be controlled by measures. The position for start and end points can be specified
either as common place names or latitude and longitude values
GeoAnalytical Layer: Heatmap ANSW✅✅Visualizes point density with a color scale. Each point
influences a circular area where the intensity of the color is greater at the center and declines in
intensity towards its outer perimeter
GeoAnalytical Layer: Geodata ANSW✅✅Displays background map data. It is intended for
customer background map data from external sources. Several kinds of map data can be accessed,
like vector data, tiled raster or on-demand rendered raster. Data can be in files on the internet or
come from online services
2 Forms of Geographical Data ANSW✅✅Geopoint (lat, long) and Area (polygons)
Cardinality ANSW✅✅Maximum number of times an instance in one entity can be associated with
instances in another (few distinct values = low cardinality)
Modality ANSW✅✅Minimum number of times an instance in one entity can be associated with
instances in another entity
3 Types of Entity Relationships ANSW✅✅One to many, many to many, one to one nc
Concatenate Tables ANSW✅✅a. Common fields are 100% populated
b. Good for many shared dimensions between tables
Link Tables ANSW✅✅Links two or more fact tables by taking all common fields out of the original
tables and placing them into a new one, contains all possible combination of values for that set of
fields, through a unique key, is associated to original tables
Note: always use distinct keyword
Granularity ANSW✅✅The level of depth represented by the data in a fact or dimension table
ID Keys ANSW✅✅a. Perfect Key - every row contains a unique key value
