Introduction
Parental participation is essential to early childhood education because it greatly affects
how kids grow up socially, emotionally, and mentally. However, many studies show that family
involvement decreases in the first few years of school. This essay makes guesses about what might
happen if a suggested research study looks into the reasons behind this drop in parental
involvement. It will discuss how the author's understanding of action research can improve their
work as an early childhood worker, compare that understanding to what has already been written
on the subject, and connect that understanding to the research question.
Hypothesis and Outcomes Possibilities
The main purpose behind this research study is that barriers, such as socioeconomic,
cultural, and societal factors, cause parents to be less involved in their children's early education.
By investigating these factors, the study hopes to develop a why to why parents aren't as involved
in their kids' early schooling and what can be done to get them more involved.
After doing this study, families with trouble with money, cultural differences in how they
see school, and not getting enough information from schools will be less likely to be involved in
their children's academic lives. The study will likely show that good communication and support
systems can help resolve these problems. This could lead to more parental involvement and better
educational results for children.
How this relates to the literature
A thorough study of the literature shows that parental involvement is greatly affected by a
number of socio-demographic factors, such as parental education level, financial status of the
family, and cultural beliefs (Fan & Chen, 2001; Hill & Tyson, 2009). These studies show that
