SAQ WRITING FOR AP WORLD HISTORY
●​ The SAQ is short for Short Answer Questions where you have to give a paragraph
response to 3 questions. 1 question will be from a primary source, another question will
be from a secondary source and then you have two different questions number 3 and
number 4. You can pick which question (3 or 4) you choose to answer. Each question
has 3 questions built inside it a, b, c. You have 40 minutes for the SAQ and it is
recommended you spend 15 minutes on each question.

SAQ TEMPLATE
●​ Recommend 3 sentences for each of your questions for the SAQ
●​ First Sentence: Answer the question directly you repeat the question and provide an answer.
●​ Second Sentence: Provide evidence for your answer in the first sentence.
●​ Third Sentence: Provide commentary that connects the evidence to the answer.
