Hippocrates:
Hippocrates contributed to society by making numerous medical advancements.
Hippocrates created the Hippocratic School in which he revolutionized ancient Greek medicine.
He also created the Hippocratic oath in which doctors would promise not to kill their patients and
maintain medical confidentiality. Lastly, Hippocrates changed the ancient Greeks’ view on
diseases and convinced them that diseases were not caused by religious beliefs and the gods but
instead by natural causes. This improved their medicine and brought it to what it is today.

Herodotus:
