When importing a data file, there are two steps: - Answer✔File options - How does Anaplan
read the file?

items?
Importing errors - Invalid Parent means - Answer✔that the source data (for the child list)
mapped to the Parent field does not match any list member of the parent list. Child list items
roll up to their respective parent list members. When you try to import child list items into a list
before the parent list has been populated, or when the parent is not included among the
parent list's items, Anaplan cannot find the parent. Anaplan will still import the new list items
to the child list, but it will place them at the bottom of the list, with no parent designated.
Importing errors - Format Mismatch means - Answer✔the format of the data being imported
does not match the format of the property to which it is mapped. When you import into a
property of a list, you will get an error if the format will not accept the import. For example, if
you try to import the text "Product A" into a number-formatted property, you will get a warning
that states Invalid number because "Product A" is not a number. Similarly, If you try to import
numbers into a list-formatted roperty, you will get a similar warning: Invalid list member. It is
important to click on the Details tab to find out more information about the error. Either return
to the Properties tab for the list and adjust the format of the roperty to match the data it
