1. The two learning systems analyzed are Google Classroom and Blackboard.
a. Google Classroom is a web-based system sponsored by Google. Its platform is
very user-friendly and used by multiple levels of educational systems from Pre-K
through College. Google Classroom as part of the G Suite allows students and
staff to use multiple functions quickly and easily, from Docs to Sheets to Slides.
Google Classroom supports virtual learning very well. It allows students and
faculty to collaborate quickly and efficiently without having to send documents
back and forth via email you can share access immediately.
b. Blackboard, also a web-based system, is sponsored by Blackboard Inc.
Blackboard has been used in the educational world for many years, prior to
Google Classroom, amongst many others. Blackboard has the capability of
delivering course materials, allowing students and faculty to communicate, and
distribute assessments. It is also user-friendly amongst many learning
environments.
