digital waveform. Used in modern systems, it has 3 wires

Variable reluctance sensor - Answer-Passive sensor used to measure wheel speed
which gives an AC voltage/analogue waveform. Usually has 2 wires

Sensor ring - Answer-Toothed or slotted ring which interrupts magnetic field of a wheel
speed sensor to induce a voltage

Solenoid valve - Answer-Valve operated by electricity found inside the ABS modulator

Anti-lock Braking System - Answer-Electronic cadence braking which prevents skidding
allowing the driver to maintain vehicle control

Electronic stability program - Answer-Sophisticated system which uses the ABS, EPS
