Q) What is ITES?
Ans) It is a form of third party or support service which has emerged due to the
use of resources of IT tools in various fields. Ex) Finance, credit Card, Banking

 IT and ITES is generating a large number of employments.

o BPO (Business Project Outsourcing)
It refers to outsourcing a third party or association for a particular task to get
faster results at lesser cost with proper quality and maximum accuracy. This
can be either voice based or data based.

Q) What is outsourcing?
Ans) It is a process of hiring an organization to operate and manage some of its
operations of the parent company.
Started in India in mid-nineties.

Types:
1) Customer Support services – related to giving info to clients through
Chatbot, Voice, e-mail, etc. Operate 24 *7. Resolving queries
2) Technical Support services- technical knowledge to resolve query of the
customers related to computer hardware, software, peripherals, etc. Ex)

high degree of accuracy. Ex) entry of voters, entry of student details.
