A1.

I would start the assessment planning with organizational needs
and company goals to ensure that training would move in the correct
direction. I would meet with top management to discuss company
goals and the vision for our company. I would also assess the
company handbook and ensure employees are aware and
understand the meeting of the company's mission and vision
statements. I would also conduct a SWOT analysis. I would research
issues with past floor agents and gather information and ideas that
can improve and prevent these issues with the new floor agents’
positions. If possible, I would bring a couple of the best floor agents
from the original furniture store to train the new floor agents as they
would know the job best.


A2. Conduct a strength, weakness, opportunities, and threats
(SWOT) analysis of the company’s training needs for the floor
agents by doing the following:
A. Identify one strength that is internal to the organization.

The furniture business already has successful floor
agents in other stores.

- Explain how the strength affects training needs and outcomes

New floor agents can learn from current floor agents
and what practices work best, we can also learn from
things that did not work well for current floor agents
and use it as strength but not implanting that in the
new furniture stores.

formal training manual for new floor agents.
Explain how the weakness affects training needs and outcomes
for the floor agents.
