This document contains workings, explanations and solutions to the BSW4802 Assignment 3 (QUALITY ANSWERS) 2025. For assistance whats-app us on 0.6.8..8.1.2..0.9.3.4... Assignment 3 is a group assignment and builds on the individual members’ fact-finding assignments (Assignment 2). The seminar will consist of an online Teams conference of at least two hours, providing each group member 5 minutes to present their fact-finding with a professional PointPoint, as well as 10-minute presentations of two stakeholders within the field, shortly sharing their challenges in the field, discussing the existing policies and legislation and recommendations of how these policies and legislation could be improved. Members need to meet at least twice to plan the seminar and to allocate the responsibilities before and during the seminar. The seminar must be recorded and an accessible link should be submitted with the documents listed below by each group leader via e-mail to the primary lecturer. A mark will be allocated and shared by all group members. If you cannot attend a meeting, inform the group leader. Group leaders should inform the lecturers if members do not attend two group meetings. All students across the groups who did not attend the first two group meetings will form a new group to arrange a late seminar. The goals of this assignment are to provide you with an opportunity to: • Work as a team in arranging a professional seminar • Network with stakeholders in the service field • Summarise the fact-findings through individual presentations • Draw conclusions on the analysis of policies and legislation • Make clear recommendations for the improvement of policies and legislation in the selected field. Guidelines • The students will be divided into groups by the lecturers. • During the first meeting, select a group leader and an assistant leader to stand in if the leader is not available and to assist with leadership. The role of the group leader is to set the dates for meetings, set an agenda for each meeting, and ensure that tasks are allocated for the seminar, the seminar is recorded, and the report with the link is e-mailed to the primary lecturer. The group leader and assistant leader will be provided with a certificate to acknowledge their roles. • Select a service field (children, youth, women or people living with disability). Allocate a problem category (see table on suggested service field and categories) to each group member. • During the second and third meetings (see calendar) the seminar must be arranged. Keep attendance registers for all meetings. • Please diarise your policy seminar date. There will be no re-scheduling should you “forget” or “oversleep”. An official medical certificate or death certificate is needed for rescheduling. • Develop an invitation and invite people to the seminar via a link. The lecturers will try to attend the seminars where possible. • Develop a seminar programme and use it to structure the seminar. • Arrange a dry run before the seminar to compile one PowerPoint or ensure that each presenter knows how to present individually. Check how the link and cameras are working. Check the order of the programme and ensure that everybody knows their responsibilities. • Appoint a programme director to take attendees through the programme and explain the purpose of the seminar. • Record the meeting. Remember when the recording is on, it is the official start of your seminar. • Set the rules of the seminar, e.g. that you only put on your camera when you present; all are muted except the presenter. • Arrange a question-and-answer section at the end of the seminar. • Ask a member or director to summarise the findings of the seminar and thank all the participants. • Remember to download an attendance register. • You can meet afterwards to debrief and evaluate the seminar. Make the final arrangements to submit Assignment 3. Structure of the submission for Assignment 3 • Page with group number, name of the team leader and assistant leader, field of service, table with names and student numbers of members, tasks allocated to each, and the problem category allocated • Invitation to the seminar • Programme of the seminar • Attendance register for the seminar • An accessible electronic link to the seminar
