WAT ZIJN ORGANISATIES?
Organisatie = samenwerking tussen mensen die samen een bepaald doel gaan bereiken
• Synergie-effect = door samen te werken bereik je meer dan dat je alleen werkt
• Schaaleffect = totaal vh samenwerkingsverband is altijd groter dan de optelsom van elke
individuele prestatie
• 2 hoofddoelen:
o Financiële winst = profit à interne hoofddoelstelling
o Maatschappelijke winst = social profit à externe hoofddoelstelling
• Organisatie wil blijven bestaan, waardoor lange termijn en korte termijnbeslissingen goed
tegen elkaar afgewogen moeten worden

Het begrip ‘organisatie’
• Functioneel: het op elkaar afstemmen van activiteiten
• Institutioneel: de organisatie als instituut (naam, adres…)
• Instrumenteel: de manier van organisatie (taakverdeling, afstemming, structuur,)
Organisatie, bedrijf en onderneming
- Social profit <> (financial) profit
- Organisatie: 3 elementen, maar niet noodzakelijk bedrijf of onderneming, niet de
bedoeling om winst te maken, social profit (Chiro, politie, brandweer)
- Bedrijf: goederen of diensten maken om te verkopen op afzetmarkt (SP <> P), maar
zonder winstoogmerk (ziekenhuis)
- Onderneming: bedrijf met winstoogmerk (Appel, Zara)

Juridische keuze: rechtsvormen
• Natuurlijke persoon: eenmanszaak, maatschap, VOF (vennootschap onder firma), CV
(commanditaire vennootschap
• Rechtspersoon: NV, BV, CV

HOE WERKEN ORGANISATIES?
Het transformatieproces
Gewenste vs ongewenste output
• Gewenste = verkoopbare producten
• Ongewenste = afval, milieuvervuiling, onverkoopbare producten
Omgeving

Middelen (resources) en materialen:
Financieel, menselijk, grondstoffen
• Efficiëntie: Zo weinig mogelijk middelen en materialen gebruiken (en
daarbij zoveel mogelijk doelen bereiken)
• Effectiviteit: Zo veel mogelijk doelen bereiken
Een goede manager bereikt zo veel mogelijk doelen met zo weinig mogelijk
middelen en materialen.
Bv: een textielbedrijf maakt stof, ze hebben hiervoor materialen (grondstoffen, katoen) en middelen
(machines, personeel) nodig (INPUT). De gewenste OUTPUT is het eindproduct de ongewenste OUPUT
