First, this is a great play. But there is so much more to it than simply capitalism versus socialism, old generation versus young generation, who the Inspector might be and oops, there goes the Titanic. You'll revise everything you've learned in class, but literally 50 new ideas, each of which, on their own, would get you into the top grades. How to argue that the Inspector is God. Or that it steals the plot of Murder on the Orient Express, or uses A Christmas Carol, or introduces us to a quantum universe through Schroedinger's Cat, or that every name in the play contains at least two messages, or that this is a feminist play, or that it is more an anti-war play than an anti-business play, or that Priestley has a blind spot for Gerald because he loved having affairs, or that Mrs Birling was right about Eva, or that Eva blamed Eric more than anyone else, or that Priestley was more famous than Strictly and Bakeoff, and Churchill hated him. Or that Edna is an important character, and that Edwardian etiquette will transform your understanding of the Birlings...You get the idea! Obviously, I'll show you how to apply this stuff in an essay, and how you get 100% in your exams. Take a peek inside to see if this is for you.
