The cell cycle!
• Interphase : Growth (G1): newly divided cell grows, Normal cell functions resume !
• G0 phase : Normal cell function , no Dan relocation ,no division !
• ,Dan replication (S), Growth (G2)!
• Chromosomes : homologues are similar but not identical ( non-replicated
chromosomes ) Replication ( S-phase )——> Sister chromatids (end of S phase to
M; G2 through metaphase replicated chromosomes ( sister chromatids))!
• G2 phase !
• M phase ; mitosis ( division of nucleus ) ; Cytokinesis ( division of cell)!
• Cancer cells : If the cell don’t do something they have to apoptosis - Pro oncogenes
promote normal cell division when mutated they can become oncogenes - Tumor
suppressor genes regulate checkpoints ; when muted they can’t stop the cell cycle !
• Normal cell ; pro oncogene + mutated = Oncogene (which is hyperactive ) if not ,
normal cells = normal protein stimulate cell division !

proteins block cancer development !
