Major action/ plot of The Flick - ✔✔- Avery trying to fit in at his new theater job,
accepts pressuring from Sam and Rose to participate in "Dinner Money" (When
the new manager comes, he finds out about dinner money and Avery takes the
blame for it, which is all he needs to be convinced that Sam and Rose were never
really his friends and ultimately aren't very good people.)

back to take the film projector and he confronts Sam by citing the bible verse he
would always do in Morgan Freeman's voice. The line that is probably most
significant in this discussion is when Avery says something along the lines of,
"Maybe, you're the weak and I am the villainy of the rich/evil men, but I'm tryin'
real hard to be the shepherd."
Situational/ thematic concerns in The Flick - ✔✔- Some people uncomfortable
with 3 hour long play
- The "4th wall" in this case is the front of the stage, the movie theatre seats are
usually set up facing the audience, making the stage frame the movie screen.
- has scene where Rose tries to have sex with Avery but he doesn't accept, could
be uncomfortable for audience. Roses comment "God, I feel like a raped you or
something!" (Then a conversation proceeds where they both talk about how they
have issues.)
