1. Klinische manifestaties
1.1. Articulaire hoofdsymptomen
 Inflammatoire pijn:
- Pijn – nachtelijke pijn
- Stramheid
- Beterschap met bewegen
 Zwelling
 Mogelijke vervorming
1.2. Begeleidende manifestaties hand
 Carpaal tunnel syndroom
 Tenovaginitis= tenosynovitis
 Springvinger
 Nodulose= vorming v knobbels
 Vasculitis: bloedvatontstekingen
 Kleine bloedvaatjes ontsteken (ih oog) => rood oog => pijnlijk maar niet schadelijk
 Vroegtijdig:
- PIP 2 & 3, DIP’s blijven smal
- Nicotine nagels
 Laattijdig: (zie foto’s ppt)
- Ulnaire deviatie v alle vingers
- Zwanehals deformatie
 Gevolg v geforceerde hyperextensie in PIP gewricht
- Knoopsgat deformatie
- Overstrekking IP duim
Vervormingen zorgen ervoor dat hand veel minder functioneel wordt
