GCSE Italian Higher Tier Paper 2 Speaking Exam Overview (June 2024) The GCSE Italian Higher Tier Paper 2 Speaking exam is designed to assess your ability to communicate effectively in spoken Italian. The exam will be conducted between 2 April and 17 May 2024 by your teacher-examiner and will typically last about 10–12 minutes. It consists of several tasks that test your skills in spontaneous conversation, pronunciation, fluency, and the ability to express and justify opinions on a variety of topics. Structure of the Exam: The exam will generally consist of three parts: 1. Part 1: Role-play (approximately 5 minutes) o In this section, you will be given a role-play situation to act out with your teacher.
