Brand - <<<ANSWER>>>This is an aspect of a product or
service that distinguishes it from other similar products, i.e.
logo, colour scheme, slogan, font style, etc.
Demographics - <<<ANSWER>>>This means the
measurements used to put people into different categories, i.e.
gender, age, specialism, interest, etc. The audience profiles
(demographic) of social media sites may be different from one
to the other.
Social media profile - <<<ANSWER>>>This tells the
public/customers about their business, what they do, their aims,
location, etc.
, Facebook Insights - <<<ANSWER>>>This analytical tool
shows detailed demographic profiles of the people who visit a
business's page and how they interact with them.
SEO - <<<ANSWER>>>This stands for search engine
optimisation. This uses a range of techniques applied to a site to
attempt to improve its ranking of the search engine results.
Having a Google+ account or having appropriate keywords that
identify what the business offer will improve SEO.
Direct advertising - <<<ANSWER>>>This is where a business
uses adverts which tell you to buy their products/services. They
use a direct approach of persuading you to purchase it.
Indirect advertising - <<<ANSWER>>>This is a subtle way of
advertising products/services. This may be through sponsoring
events to create a positive attitude towards the product/service.
Users sharing posts is another example of this.
Viral - <<<ANSWER>>>When a post is shared by numerous
people who themselves share it. This can increase to millions of
views.
Malware - <<<ANSWER>>>An umbrella term for MALicious
softWARE (malware). Usually downloaded from the internet /
USB, once installed it deliberately has a negative impact on the
computer, e.g. gather private information, slow the computer,
delete files, etc.
