Malala speaks about her former home in Pakistan in stark contrast to her current home in
Birmingham, England. What are Malala's feelings toward Pakistan, and how does she feel about

Answers✔A: Malala really wants to go back to Pakistan and she misses it very much and goes
there in her mind but people say it is to dangerous to go back there. She misses all the trophies
on her shelves not just because it's a trophy but because they are "reminders to her of the life
she loved and the girl she was before she left her home." Malala in her old house always heard
kids playing but now in England she lives in a sturdy brick damp chilly house with no children
laughing or yelling and the water heats by itself. They also have large rooms nice floors with a
very large TV. She misses Pakistan so much.
At the onset of her story, Malala reveals she has a gnawing feeling that something bad was
going to happen. She wonders about death. "One night, I'd found myself wondering about
death. What is being dead really like? I wanted to know... What happens when you die [I asked
God].. How would it feel?" (5).
