Bottom Up= things you don’t know

Experiment = cause
Correlation = comparison
Observation = strong
Controlled Observation = during experiment & correlation
Survey = weak
Meta-analysis = historical research (looking at research that has already been done)
Cross-sectional = quick, fast, immediate, cheap
Longitudinal = group of things/persons, long, in depth, expensive
IRB = Institutional Research Board
